Peter Knobel was raised in Long Island, New York, and is a graduate of American University in Washington, D.C., where he earned degrees in both Real Estate and Finance. Peter began his real estate career in the 1980's working at Related Companies, one of the nation's largest developers of high-end residential and commercial real estate. During his tenure at Related, Peter was charged with assembling some of New York's finest developments. He was also simultaneously a partner in Gilbert Charles Beylen Inc., which the New York Times dubbed "one of the city's largest real-estate marketing concerns" in 1984. Since 2001, Peter has lived full-time with his family as a Vail, Colorado resident and has continued to work in real estate. Peter is the largest owner of commercial real estate in Vail, developing multiple luxury homes throughout the Rocky Mountains and, recently, completed the Solaris Residences, the premier mixed-use development in the Rocky Mountains.
Craig Cohn moved to Colorado after graduating from Syracuse University. Craig was the founding partner in a chain of retail stores with locations from Aspen to Boulder. After many years of managing through the challenges of paying ski town rents and seasonality he believed that his experience would make him well suited for a career in resort Real Estate. Craig sold his share of the business to his partner and enrolled in the University of Denver where earned a Masters Degree in Real Estate and Construction Management. Craig's experience is equally matched in both commercial and residential real estate. Craig has been responsible for the sales and marketing effort of The Solaris Residences of which he has successfully closed in excess of $200MM worth of residential sales and he has been involved in excess of $700MM in total residential & commercial transactions in his career. Craig had been involved and acted as a partner in the acquisition and sale of many residential development projects spanning the entire price spectrum in Vail. Craig has represented buyers and sellers on dozens of partial ownership and vacation club transactions. In addition, he has managed all the commercial leasing for The Shops at Solaris, The Shops at Solaris Plaza (One Willow Bridge) as well as many other commercial spaces in Vail Village and down Valley.
Steven Sendor joined Solaris Real Estate in 2012 as a member of the sales and leasing team. Since that time he has helped implement the company's short and long-term residential leasing strategies, acquire and lease-up over 20,000 square feet of commercial space, and sell over $50MM worth of residential property in the Vail Valley. He began his career at Rent.com, an online apartment listing service located in Santa Monica, California. As a national sales representative, he helped add content to the site by signing multi-family portfolio accounts during the lead up to its acquisition in 2004 by eBay, Inc. Steven moved into brokerage in 2004 with GVA Daum Commercial Real Estate in Los Angeles, where he specialized in industrial leasing and sales. He joined Colliers International in 2005 where he earned "Rookie of the Year" honors, specializing in investment sales, commercial leasing and assemblage. Notable clients included Wells Fargo Bank, the City of Santa Monica and Tower Energy Group. Steven has participated in nearly $300MM of real estate sales, leasing and financing transactions. He holds a BS in Marketing from Ithaca College and real estate licenses in Colorado and California. Steven has spent 8 years of his career in Vail.
